Coaching for employees, managers and teams
In a constantly evolving business landscape, adaptability is key. I coach individuals and teams to excel through change, helping them to remain resilient and focused during transitions. I've coached employees from start-ups and larger organisations, including Deloitte, HelloFresh UK, Pact Coffee, Ocean Bottle and The School of Life through challenges including stepping up to leadership roles, hybrid working, redundancy, relocation and returning to work after a break.
Why choose coaching?
- Boost employee engagement. Engaged employees are more productive and more likely to stay with you. Coaching offers an unbiased, supportive space where employees feel valued, motivated to grow, and more committed to your organisation’s success.
- Enhance skills and performance. Coaching increases self-awareness and helps employees honestly identify their strengths and areas for growth. This can raise self-confidence and help employees feel empowered to develop their skills.

- Foster leadership development. New leaders often experience “imposter syndrome”, coaching helps them to quickly get past that and cultivate authentic leadership qualities.

- Build strong teams. Coaching enhances team dynamics by developing communication skills, increasing self-awareness, assisting in conflict resolution and harnessing a culture of shared team goals.
- Navigate change effectively. Change can be unsettling, so building resilience and adaptability is key. Coaching provides the tools and strategies to navigate change, helping your team remain resilient and focused during transitions.

- Improve well-being. Coaching supports employees in navigating issues affecting their well-being, such as stress, work-life balance, life balance and personal challenges.

What is group coaching?Group coaching is a collaborative and interactive process where a coach works with a small group of individuals towards a common goal or objective. Participants benefit from shared experiences, perspectives, and insights, as well as support and accountability from both the coach and group members. Group coaching allows for peer learning, networking, and growth in a supportive and dynamic environment.

What is life coaching?Life coaching is a collaborative partnership between a trained coach and the client, designed to help the client achieve personal and professional goals, overcome challenges, and make positive changes in their life. Life coaches provide support, guidance, motivation, and accountability to help clients clarify their goals, identify obstacles, develop action plans, and move towards their desired outcomes. Life coaching focuses on the present and future, emphasising personal growth, self-discovery, and empowerment.

Should I have coaching or therapy? The decision to pursue coaching or therapy depends on your specific situation. Therapy typically focuses on addressing and resolving emotional, psychological, or mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship challenges. A therapist is trained to help you explore your past, understand your emotions and behaviours, and work through unresolved issues that may be impacting your mental well-being. On the other hand, coaching is more future-oriented and goal-driven, empowering you to take charge of your personal and professional development, goal setting, and behaviour change. A coach can help you clarify your goals, identify obstacles, create action plans, and provide support and accountability as you work towards achieving your objectives. If you are struggling with emotional or psychological issues that are significantly impacting your daily functioning and well-being, therapy may be more appropriate. However, if you are looking to make positive changes in your life, set and achieve goals, or enhance your personal or professional skills, coaching may be a better fit. If you are unsure, I am happy to have a consultation call with you to discuss further. As part of the Coaching Code of Ethics I follow as part of my ICF accreditation, I am duty-bound to suggest therapy if I believe it to be the most appropriate support for you.

How quickly will I see results? The timeline for seeing results in life coaching can vary depending on several factors, including your individual goals, commitment level, the frequency of coaching sessions, and the complexity of the challenges you are facing. In general, some clients may start to see progress and positive changes after just a few coaching sessions, while others may require longer-term coaching to achieve their desired outcomes. It is important to approach life coaching with an open mind, a willingness to explore new perspectives, and a readiness to take action on the insights and strategies discussed during coaching sessions. Consistent effort, implementation of action plans, and active participation in the coaching process are key factors that can accelerate your progress and help you achieve results more quickly. I will work with you to set clear goals, establish a roadmap for success, and provide support and accountability to keep you on track towards achieving your desired outcomes. They will also equip you with specific strategies and tools, such as mindfulness techniques, goal-setting frameworks, and self-reflection exercises, to help you navigate your challenges and achieve your goals. By actively engaging in the coaching process, practising self-reflection, and applying these strategies and tools, you can begin to see positive changes and progress towards your goals in a relatively short period of time.
