Coaching for the middle of a plot twist
Some changes you choose — leaving the career that no longer fits, starting the thing you keep talking yourself out of, redesigning a life that’s due a rewrite. Some choose you: a redundancy, a divorce, a loss. Either way, you’re mid-turn, the ground has shifted, and the old map doesn’t quite fit the territory anymore.
1:1 coaching gives you somewhere to think properly about what comes next — with someone in your corner who won’t rush you towards a tidy ending.
Who is this for?
This is coaching for those in the middle of a change — chosen or not.
Maybe you’re the one doing the turning: a career pivot you’ve been circling for months, a business idea that won’t leave you alone, a move, a retraining, an ending you know is right but can’t quite say out loud yet. Maybe the change arrived without asking — redundancy, divorce, loss, children leaving home. Or maybe you’re in the murkiest bit of all, where you can’t yet tell whether this is happening to you or for you.
From the outside, everything might look fine. Inside, the questions are getting louder: What do I actually want now? Is this idea brave or just restless — and how would I know? And can I trust myself to choose what’s next?
You’re not broken, and you don’t need to become some fully optimised version of yourself before your life is allowed to move. What you might need is:
-
Clarity on direction — making sense of what’s ahead and feeling grounded in your choices, not just collecting more ideas.
-
Confidence to move through uncertainty — trusting yourself again when life hasn’t gone to plan, and feeling steadier on ground that’s still moving.
-
Practical ways forward — I spent 15 years leading change inside organisations. The same thinking that gets a business through upheaval works remarkably well on a life.
-
Challenge as well as care — deep listening, honest questions, and stretch without pressure. Supportive without being soft.
How it works
Structure underneath you, so your thinking can go wherever it needs to.
-
Starting well. Before we begin, an onboarding pack helps you map where you are now — what’s changing, what matters, what feels uncertain.
-
Six 60-minute sessions over roughly 12 weeks. Via Zoom, paced to fit your life. Each one is a calm, confidential hour to work out what’s really going on — and turn insight into action.
-
Support between sessions. Email or WhatsApp to test an idea, keep momentum, or ask the question that surfaced on a Tuesday walk.
-
A proper ending. In our final session we reflect, mark how far you’ve come, and shape your next steps — with tools that keep working long after we finish.
Why work with me?
I’m Sian — an ICF-accredited coach with 500 hours of coaching experience, after 15 years leading change inside organisations including RBS, AXA and IBM.
I also know what a plot twist feels like from the inside. Eight years ago my husband died, leaving me to raise our two daughters — small then, teenagers now. Career change, relocation, redundancy, grief: I’ve lived the kind of change I now coach people through. I spent my working life leading change for other people; then life handed me a change I hadn’t planned for. Both sit behind how I coach.
Clients tell me sessions leave them clearer, steadier, and more themselves — supported and challenged in the same hour.

Your investment
This isn’t a single conversation — it’s twelve weeks of structured support while something real shifts.

Sessions are typically weekdays, 8am–7pm UK time. If you need something outside those hours, ask — there’s some flexibility.
Not sure yet? That’s allowed.
Book in for a chat! I offer a free discovery call where we’ll talk about where you are, what’s turning, and whether working together feels right. If it doesn’t, you’ll still leave with something useful.
