What should I expect during a coaching session?
Each session is a safe, supportive space for you to explore what’s going on, what you want, and what’s getting in the way. We will start with introductions or a check-in, depending on whether we've worked together before. Next, we will make sure we are really clear on what we want to achieve in the session. Then we do the work we need to do to get there! I’ll ask questions, share tools where appropriate, and help you untangle your thoughts so you leave with more clarity and confidence — and often a practical next step too.
What types of coaching services do you offer?
I offer 1-1 coaching to private individuals either as a one-off "Power Hour" or as a 3 month (6 session) transformational programme. I believe that coaching is more effective as a programme, however, there are times when a one-off session is appropriate, perhaps to try coaching or as a top-up session.
I typically coach individuals going through significant life changes - new careers, redundancy, divorce/separation, relocation or other big change.
I also offer workplace coaching, bringing together my corporate and coaching experiences. I tailor coaching services to the needs of the business whether that is 1-1 coaching, team coaching or delivering workshops.
What is your cancellation policy for coaching sessions?
My cancellation policy requires a 24-hour notice for any changes or cancellations to your scheduled coaching session. If you cancel within 24 hours, a cancellation fee may apply.
Do you offer virtual coaching sessions?
Yes, all my private work is currently conducted online using Zoom. This allows you to receive coaching from the comfort of your own home or office, no matter where you are located.
How can I book a coaching session?
You can book a coaching session through our website by navigating to the 'Book a Session' page. Select the type of coaching you need, choose a date and time that works for you, and complete the booking form.
How is coaching different from therapy or mentoring?
Coaching is future-focused. It doesn't dig into your past or do deep work into mental health issues or emotional distress like you would with a trained therapist. Coaching also doesn't provide you with the guidance that you would look to a mentor for. Coaching helps you uncover your own answers and build strategies that feel right for you.
Do I need to have a clear goal before starting coaching?
Not at all. Some people come with a big goal, others just know they’re stuck or something needs to change. Both are welcome. Part of my job is helping you find clarity about what matters most and where to start.
What kinds of changes or challenges do you help with?
I work with people navigating big transitions — whether that’s career change, life shifts, or the tricky in-between stages when the old no longer fits but the new isn’t clear yet. I also support organisations through times of change, helping employees feel steadier, more motivated, and more resilient.
Can I book a one-off session before committing?
Yes! That’s exactly what my Power Hour is for. It’s a focused, one-off session to help you gain clarity, make decisions, or untangle a challenge. From there, you can decide if you’d like to continue with longer-term coaching.
Can my employer cover the cost of coaching?
Absolutely. Clients are often funded through their employer’s wellbeing, training, or professional development budgets. If it helps, I can provide information for your HR team.
How do I purchase 1:1 coaching?
You can purchase a Power Hour directly from the website and book your time slot too. For the 6-session Coaching Programme, please book an introductory call first. After that, if you would like to proceed, then I will send you the booking and calendar links.
